Connoisseur Recovery Ltd was first established in the early 1980’s from a facility in Lower High street Watford covering solely the Watford Area. In 1993 Mark Woodward saw an opportunity for the company to grow going into a partnership with the then owner.
Mark’s aim for the company was to grow it from a small business to a much larger one, providing customers with the highest level of service across the whole of the county, ensuring they get to their destination in a timely and safe manner.
Shortly after 1994, Mark moved Connoisseur Recovery Ltd’s base to Old Approach Watford to expand the companies´ holding capacity.
In 2009 Connoisseur Recovery Ltd expanded its areas in the south of England and so took on a second base in Hemel Hempstead. This allowed the company to meet the current demands of major motoring organisations.
In November 2018 Connoisseur Recovery Ltd was successfully awarded the Green Flag contract, covering their Accident and breakdown work in the surrounding Watford Areas.
As the companies´ work grew, more facilities were needed and so in 2019 the newest Workshop and Compound Holding Facilities in Bourne End was added to the company’s portfolio.
26 years on from the initial take over, Connoisseur Recovery Ltd has now expanded to three bases allowing the company to cover extensive areas in the South of England and Outer London. Connoisseur’s current 40 Vehicle Fleet allows the company to be at the forefront of the recovery Industry hoping to further expand in the future whilst still delivering Connoisseur´s initial aim.
Our recovery vehicles range from small tow trucks and flat beds to the largest lifting and towing trucks. Having a large, modern fleet of recovery vehicles enables us to recover all sizes of vehicles including cars, vans and commercial vehicles.
